I think Psychics currently have my favorite #PF2e spells, but the Animist's "Devouring Dark Form" is dang cool.

Grow tentacles with 10-ft reach! And the Grapple trait! And a free Grapple when you Sustain! You get a "shark battle form" with a heightened cast!

And so on...

Okay -- another #PF2e Cleric spell, "Creative Splash," allows you to drop "colorful illusions" on an area, "reflecting your personal creative specialty." It dazzles, frightens, enfeebles, etc. your target, yada yada.

Now I'm wondering what my personal creative specialty is....

I've talked up the #PF2e Bard spells, but what about Cleric spells? Take, for example, this 4th-rank focus spell, "Localized Quake."

15-foot emanation. 4d6 bludgeoning. Fail the save, fall prone.

AND it heightens 2d6 damage every rank!

"Allegro" is a 7th-rank #PF2e Bard cantrip that allows you to quicken an ally for 1 round. It's a one-action spell. Can be extended with Lingering Composition.

Did I mention it's a cantrip?

"Song of Marching" is another under-utilized #PF2e Bard cantrip. It increases your party's movement during exploration and gives them all a +1 to initiative rolls. (This stacks with the Scout action!)

I've yet to track movement speed in Exploration. Time to design an encounter around it!

Sure, everyone knows the #PF2e Bard cantrips "Dirge of Doom" and "Rallying Anthem." But what about "Triple Time"? A nice little cantrip to give a boost to your party's speed...

I love these music-themed bard buff/debuff spells. But what if my Bard is a poet?

Another theme of #PF2e spell is shadow magic.

Take "Malicious Shadow." With it, you take control of the target's shadow, transforming it into a "deadly form" and turning it against its host.

...getting ideas for the next spellbook....

#PF2e definitely has themes for their spells. One of the more disturbing themes is cruetly.

Take "Suffocate." It not only does 4d8 bludgeoning damage, but if the target fails a save, it has to hold its breath...or suffocate. Which is a horrible way to go in Pathfinder.
