2025 has been a rough year for me. Much like a lot of my friends in the games industry I was laid off...
It was actually my third time being laid off in a 2 year span.
Which unfortunately looks really bad on my resume, but I'm a sucker for small studios and startups, haha.

Development of Diesel Worm is going pretty well in the background, a lot of sub-system and core tech stuff. Sooo nothing super interesting to show for visuals. But I am starting on implementing some VFX/SFX systems, so hopefully I'll have some cool stuff to show off soon. #gamedev #boringcodestuff

This is from a few weeks ago, but I just remembered it and it made me giggle.
I wrote a quick thing to limit heavy systems to only a few ms per frame. I had a bug that made it do the opposite... but only if your PC was very fast, haha. #gamedev
