I don't get how anyone could idolize Patrick Bateman. American Psycho is just "this guy's a loser" the movie, and it's not subtle. Yes. Patrick Is "charismatic", but the point is that it's all shallow mimicry and not true charisma. He has no original thoughts. He is a husk.
