Another month, another post, I guess I'll keep on reading books.

This is a busy-busy month so we shall see what happens!

Chronic Mystery but Functional Stomach Issues struck again and on a good night as I was just eating and drinking n/a options at my favorite bar.

I always knew it wasn't related to alcohol but didn't have to be that obvious.

I did not like that Peacemaker finale.

It feels like a bad intro to a bigger DC Universe and I'm tired of marketing strategies.

That's also not on my more serious issues about the other earth.

The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon was a book I read for the first time 10+ years ago reminding how much I loved to read.

How much I loved to read beauty balanced with a certain flavor of silliness only found in the pages of the most Gothic.

So I got this copy finally to annotate my love.

This is the first time I've read anything by Ocean Vuong and I've been taking my time but am becoming too obsessed.

I know so little about poetry so I need to read his prose because these words hurt and make me reread and reflect again and again.
I am holding up a copy of Night Sky with Exit Wounds by Ocean Vuong. The book cover is an old photograph of three people sitting. Eddie Spaghetti a little black cat is next to the book.

Because I do! I always want to read more by her and whenever she writes an introduction for a book, I need that copy.

Anyway, just read the intro for Orlando by Virginia Wolf.

The best part of today was how many guests at the conference I'm working asked about indie bookstores to visit in Philly and every time I was like omg I'm so ready to answer this question.

I remember one time going to Williamsburg as a kid and I wanted to bring the Felicity book I had from the library but my mom said no, in case we lost is there (reasonable).
