It's #portfolioday! Here's a smattering of my artwork.

I draw, paint & take photos. My paintings & drawings are abstract to illustrative to comic.

My photos are mostly flowers, architecture, graffiti, the sky, as well as abstract minimalism of what I find around me in my urban or rural setting.

For #ArtAdventCalendar day 8 evening, a temporary chalk mural I did for the 2019 DeepFreeze Festival in January 2019.

Fortunately it was only -5 so not super deep freeze-y.

Took about 9 hours.

Day 8 of the 2025 #artadventcalendar.

One of my all-time favourite creations. It's one of the few times I managed to move away from intense colours. And it's the second-largest painting I've ever made.

It's called "Lifting the Weight Off". Oil on Canvas. 36 x 24 inches, I think.

This painting is based on a picture I took. The style is based on a technique based on conceal and reveal by using Gamblin medium to reveal previous layers and using a palette knife edge to add textures of sharp quick lines. The roof texture is from painting wire screens on the painting paper.
