a monochrome photograph of a marina, captured using a lensball.
A lensball is a glass sphere that is used to create a fisheye-like effect, where the scene inside the ball is often inverted.
The image shows the harbor in Charleston, Oregon, with multiple boats docked and vegetation in the foreground, as seen through the lensball.

close-up, eye-level shot of a fly agaric mushroom on a forest floor. the mushroom has a striking red cap with numerous yellowish-white, wart-like spots. The stem is a pale yellowish-white. It is surrounded by a natural bed of brown leaves, pine needles, and small twigs, with a blurred background of the forest floor.

we do gets tons of birds here on our property, so they are definitely not going hungry. and they love the fruit trees and the fountain.
mfoley25.bsky.social
we only feed the hummingbirds and the jays (peanuts). the reason being that we had a major rat problem when we sold our property in Grants Pass and it cost almost ten thousand in repairs. they found tons of birdseed under the house. any of my pics of birds on feeders are all from back then.

a Spotted Towhee and a Golden-crowned Sparrow, perched on a terracotta pot. the Spotted Towhee has a black head, back, and tail with distinct white spots on its wings and back. It also has bright reddish-orange sides, a white belly, and a red eye. The Golden-crowned Sparrow has a streaked brown and gray body.
The pot contains birdseed and some green plant material. The background is a blurry view of trees and foliage.

I meant to say that my neighbor bought their property and lived in their original home until 2022. our property is four acres of the original Stankavich property. we really need that edit button. I evidently have a problem posting today 🙄🤦‍♀️

the property we live on was owned by the family of a man who invented the first mechanical cranberry picker. my neighbor. we have a tiny bog at the end of our property where we still get some cranberries every year.
