We took some peas down to the park this evening to feed our pūtangitangi (and the mallards). It took them a little while to get it, but they decided that peas are delicious!

We took some peas down to the park this evening to feed our pūtangitangi (and the mallards). It took them a little while to get it, but they decided that peas are delicious!

Here's this morning's duck adventure featuring meeping AND swooping. Bless their hearts. When the third took off and went flap-flap-fly she was absolutely shocked 😂 I wish I'd caught her wobbly flying but I think you can hear her surprised meep as she goes past #nzbirds

We found a baby thrush in the gardens today that was being attacked by 5 seagulls 😡. Ran over and picked it up, as it seemed to be in shock.
Took the little gal home, fed her some honeyed water in a dish and churu via pipette. (Loved it!)
