Ok! Now that I have a face, I'm ready to say hello :)

Hi Everybody, my name is Edgy, and I'm Technical Director on Hell Is Us.

I like and follow indie and retro games. Canadian Indie Devs get insta follows! 🇨🇦❤️

Too many hobby projects going on at the same time, but trying to manage woodland.
Is the 4x2 curve buttons the most appreciated best setup(Sega Astro city)? I'm looking at building myself an arcade control and I'm paralyzed with button configuration. I have looked at www.slagcoin.com/joystick/lay... but it's hard to know how minute differences would affect ergonomics.

So the Angry Video Game Nerd 8-bit comes out tomorrow...

I have a couple of STEAM KEYS to give away~

Be a follower and repost! I'll pick a couple of people in a few days!
2 decades ago we still had to pay for physical media, which increases cost quite a bit since there's production, distribution, and shipping to take into consideration. Now the majority of sales are digital, providing higher margins, and like 100% if you buy your ubi game on ubi connect.

"A website that catalogues the fonts used in video games.
Fuck, it's genius... why didn't I think of that...!"

Just brought in my Lemon tree and Fig as well.
Great to see another container grower.
Upload will be better for tomorrow's, trying to figure out the right size and stuff. Plus canvas space and maybe a frame? Everything in duetime
Everytime I see that font all I can think of is the colecovision startup screen.
De La Page pode ser francês. So that's cuatro.
That is bonkers amounts of money for a handheld. Fine, it's as powerful as a XSX, but it's almost double the price.

Who's going to buy that?
Lugged some more logs out of the bush to keep splitting. Also look at the pretty maple!
The real sadness is no one understands the stump joke in Monkey Island.

Rolled credits on Hell is Us this weekend. Really enjoyed it, don't sleep on this one folks.
A pretty unique one. Rewarding exploration and puzzle solving, great world building, interesting characters, all fully voiced. Just a great experience overall and very well-made game.
Going to shamelessly plug Hell Is Us. If you like side quests, and no hand-holding, you're going to have a great time!
This game has an awesome soundtrack too!
This is the first path algorithm I ever implemented on Dawn of Heroes (NDS). Used it to generate possible move points inside a circle with obstacles.

I miss working on this sort of stuff sometimes.

Okay, I'll give it a shot too.

One like, one video game recommendation.
Finished this one with my buddy just 2 days ago.

Very fun, good difficulty level, and some replayability
51. HUNTDOWN

Perfectly evokes the flair of the greatest SNES action games (JUDGE DREDD, DEMOLITION MAN). Crisp controls, gorgeous retraux look & sound, the 1980s' allusions are fun but not overdone & boss fights are challenging and creative. Much fun, a bit short.

Yeah, the music in this game is part of the reason I have a soft spot for arpeggios.

My hand is cramped from pushing the pedal button so hard though!

I need to learn to be less tense! 😬
