I put this on a thread but I wanna underline it. Diane Keaton basically penned her own Oscar, won Woody his first screenwriting award, and her hat/tie look (which was Keaton’s own doing) was almost as iconic as Travolta’s white suit. She wrote her own damn ticket. Legend. Cracked the screen.

We don’t talk enough about Reds. Flawed very gutsy film. But it holds because of the scenes with Keaton as Louise Bryant. She transcends the script, centers the film, and honors Bryant’s memory. Her scenes with Nicholson as Eugene O’Neill: #chefskiss

gonna go on a little cuz sad about this. DK had a thankless role in G1 but sells one of the most iconic scenes in movies. Your heart breaks with hers. But we don’t say enuf how she killed it in G2: "It wasn't a miscarriage, it was an abortion, Michael. Just like our marriage is an abortion!” Damn.

I will say that "night patrols" in DC where we film at night when ICE operates on desolate streets, we film, and we advise those being kidnapped of their rights, has made them back off more than once. The National Guard needs to be asked why the fuck they aren't in Texas at every occasion.
