Given that the BBC endlessly gives platforms to lobbyists from the dark money junktanks without revealing their interests, shouldn't we be seeing such apologies every day?

Better still, how about not doing it? If they want to appear, we should know on whose behalf they are speaking.

Maybe we’re already part of a hive mind
I recently discovered the new TV show Pluribus, about a scenario where the whole world gets turned into a hive mind, an annoyingly nice one, at least in the initial episodes, but where a few humans turn out to be immune to the virus that converts everyone else, including the cantankerous protagonist, Carol Sturka. The hive mind in the show appears to work via telepathy, enabled by alien sequences of DNA.

Another excellent podcast episode that gives me hope the Green Party is ready to rule.
Among other topics, we discuss the sale of children in care.
They're worth roughly £100k each. The profit you can extract by sending them across the country to the cheapest housing in derelict places, cutting them off from all hope and contact, is off the scale. www.youtube.com/watch?v=3xx6...

Interesting history of journalistic standards. What I don’t get is how claims about the BBC’s right-wing bias aren’t mentioned at all. It’s not as simple as this author’s history would make us believe. (That Boomer’s broke impartiality and created activist journalism.)

Least surprising quote to anyone who looked at The Free Press because a Trump-supporting family member told them to.
“I’ve been hearing that standards will be eliminated or severely cut back. Bari has told people that she wants to get rid of standards and is shocked that they have so much power. She also asked openly, ‘What’s the point of standards?’” one CBS source said.
