Great to see this rare visitor to the UK, esp Wales. Only 100 #hoopoes seen in England last year. Never heard of them till this morning. Explains a bird call we've heard for last few years - turns out is a #hoopoe. Pity I couldnt get a better vid @rspb.bsky.social @btobirds.bsky.social #hoopoebird

Insane! That one pot of pears on it's journey from monoculture farm in Argentina, packing factory in Thailand and on to a supermarket is probably responsible for more CO2 & methane than a single cow produces in its entire life!

Came across this lovely Badger track yesterday on the area where the chickens were. It was probably looking for worms in the fertile soil left by the chickens.

The first of our bare-root strawberry plants have arrived. These are Cambridge Favourite, a variety we’ve grown for the last 10 or so years. They are so yummy - the only bad thing is the waiting!!
