I think the likelihood that this man in his seventies from Chicago has sung along with Meatloaf in the car approaches one hundred percent.

A new group -- Save Heritage Indiana -- is a warmed over KKK grift.

The 1920s Indiana KKK was an anti-immigrant grift. Now a new organization is using the same playbook.

while I’m being cranky, access journalism needs to go. When the president does his “I’m alpha because I insulted you” thing somebody needs to fall on his sword and say “what the fuck is wrong with you, old man?” on a hot mic. the hero of the wizard of Oz is Toto.

These guys have been on the opposite side of the table from Democrats forever. But it's not until they get on the opposite side from Trump that threats of violence start up.

If people can no longer get in trouble for intimidating others with these symbols, we need to completely ostracize anyone who tries. Make the social cost as steep as possible.

And I can hardly believe we’re here.

Anyone moving from NYC to Indianapolis is going to be so pissed about the bagels.
There’s not going to be a mass exodus from New York but, even if there were, people wouldn’t generally be going to Louisiana. In 2023, more than twice as many New Yorkers moved to *Alaska* as Louisiana. www.pbump.net/o/americans-...

I hope they find who is swatting the republican Indiana state senators who are preventing a vote on redistricting so that Trump can pardon them.

I know people are saying that Trump's people probably cleaned up the Epstein files they'll release so they don't incriminate him but don't forget these people are absolute nincompoops and also really lazy so it's likely they'll fuck this up just like they fucked up the Comey indictment.
James Comey’s lawyers say that Lindsey Halligan might as well be any rando off the street, she’s not a legitimate Interim U.S. Attorney.

But if you picked a rando off the street outside the Alexandria courthouse, there’s a good chance they’d have more prosecutorial experience than Lindsey Halligan.

I do enjoy seeing the Indiana GOP in disarray. No one cares about redistricting in Indiana except the absolute biggest dipshits in the party. Why anyone votes for them remains a mystery to me.

Can’t someone just please call him “Piggy”?
Trump, in response to a question on the Epstein files:

"I think the way you ask a question with the anger and the meanness is terrible. You ought to go back and learn how to be a reporter. No more questions from you."

Hey, I know - everyone can take that $2000 and pool it together and then if someone is sick and needs medical care we can take some out and give it to them and if we do this for the whole country this could cover as much as ten or fifteen percent of our medical costs!
Trump: "THE ONLY HEALTHCARE I'LL SUPPORT OR APPROVE IS SENDING MONEY DIRECTLY BACK TO THE PEOPLE W/ NOTHING GOING TO THE BIG, FAT, RICH INSURANCE COMPANIES, WHO HAVE RIPPED OFF AMERICA LONG ENOUGH. THE PEOPLE WILL BE ALLOWED TO NEGOTIATE & BUY THEIR OWN, MUCH BETTER, INSURANCE. POWER TO THE PEOPLE!"

It would be pretty big news if someone found a Trump associate that was not involved in some sort of sex crime.

As he’s still teaching, I think it’s fair for a reporter to ask him if he’s actively trying to fuck any of his students or colleagues right now or plans to in the near future.

I think a lot about how there are people out there that know exactly whatever Trump has done but aren't saying anything for whatever reason, legal or otherwise, and meanwhile, Trump is burning down the whole fucking country.
