Jumping off of this. Marvel acts like a comic publisher aimed exclusively at shops. VS DC and skybound that while does have a shop focus, rn acts more like a book publisher ie there is a focus on compendiums, reprints of collections and compacts.
I don’t think the new Brand New Day comic is really about nostalgia at all, I think it is just about the movie and that feels obvious to me
It’s the Civil War 2 of it all, it’s just marvel making a sure a comic that matches a movie title is on the shelves this year

If they didn’t want to repeat “all new all different” brand new day would’ve been better.
