Timeline cleanse: 3YO had his first ski lesson tonight and loved it. He’s on the smallest skis I’ve ever seen and they’re paw patrol themed. It’s a 3-6YO group lesson & it was adorable chaos w/ tiny kids and tiny skis. 🤗🤗

Thought xyzal wasn’t supposed to be sedating. I have to take two 24hr OTC antihistamines daily. I was taking 2 Zyrtec at bedtime & having trouble waking up in the morning. Finding out today that xyzal makes me drowsy past AM 😴🥴

Brand new puzzle & 3YO disappeared a few pieces, which he’s done w/ every puzzle. Drives my ocd insane so I looked for the few all over. Found all but one & found his treasure trove in the floor vent (I hate floor vents.) Found the fire stick we lost months ago. 🤦🏼♀️ I found all but one piece. 😵💫

Now that Christmas is past, I need to focus even more on diet and lifestyle changes to keep my entire colon. I just love carbs & can’t stay consistent w/ exercise. Ideas for short-term motivators for the exercise part?

3YO got this for Christmas and interchangeably calls it an IPad & laptop. Last night, we told him it was time to go up to bed for a book. He said, “I can’t. I have work to still!” as he feverishly and randomly typed all the buttons w/ a determined look. 🤣

I often get hypoglycemia unawareness, but when I was sweating in the grocer store freezer sections despite it being -7 outside, I fortunately figured it out this time. 🤣🥶

Called my GI yesterday bc of all the colonoscopies I’ve done, I’ve never struggled this bad after & for so long. Relayed my symptoms to the RN & she called me back to say he said try probiotics. 😑🫠 That’s all?! Not sure how concerned I should be.

Had my colonoscopy today. I have to go back in 6 mos bc the large precancerous polyp they removed last yr recurred entirely. If any returns in 6 mos, I may have to get a portion of my colon removed. I’m so bummed. #PSA get your #colonoscopy

Nights ago, I was taking a bath to unwind. Thought I was alone bc it’d been 30 mins w/ the door closed. I hear a sigh. I sit up see Sitka passed out. Not sure when she snuck in, but the sigh was her silently farting in the steamy bathroom. 😝 😆

Forgot to share that our neighborhood moose ate our pumpkins. Our security camera didn’t pick it up, but then it came back later that evening looking for more & caught it then. It’s on the smaller side so assuming it’s young. 😍

Alaska life includes not a single nearby grocery store having the last three items I need for one of my dinner ideas at a singular store. Often, I’ll go to 2-3 stores in a week for all we need, but even my top 3 don’t have burrata right now. 😑

Caught this moose walking into traffic. Moose aren’t deterred by busy streets, cars, even the highway. Sometimes, it means they’re hit, but fortunately this moose was moving slowly and cars were aware of it crossing.

Yesterday, I was a chaperone on 8’s field trip to the @AlaskaSeaLife It was amazing, as usual. This precious seal made all everyone’s day. Born w/ a neurological condition & was SO playful w/ the kids through the glass. 🥹🩷
