An absolute banger of a eulogy for a world that's already gone. More depressing for the knowledge that choosing either a different 45th or 47th president would have gotten us a smart leader who could deliver such words and ideas with confidence ... and at the same time make them unnecessary. 😢
Canadian PM Carney’s speech at Davos reportedly received a standing ovation.

The speech marked the end of an era.

It will no doubt be looked to as part of the historical record of the end of the transatlantic rules-based international order.

It’s time for the Supreme Court to finally issue a ruling on tariffs. The Court has already recognized that tariffs function as a tax on the American people. A president cannot unilaterally impose new taxes on American citizens that power belongs to Congress alone.
