The Democratic Party is not the enemy. Authoritarian Broligarchy is. Stay focused. Sometimes I give up hope and then I rally- usually after reading a Blue Sky post. Thank you.

Energy transitions can happen faster than we think:

In 2000 almost 90% of Denmark's electricity was from fossil fuels.

In 2024 less than 10% of Danish electricity was from fossil fuels.

These boat strikes will be nothing compared to the war crimes they will commit after they initiate regime change to seize Venezuelan oil companies.

And for this, Trump wants all of Ukraine (and ultimately Europe) to be brought to their knees before Putin. And what is worse- not enough Americans even give a shit- we’re busy committing our own war crimes-and not enough give a shit.

Title 18 of the U.S. Code defines a war crime, among other illegal acts, as “the act of a person who intentionally kills one or more persons taking no active part in the hostilities, including those placed out of combat by sickness, wounds, detention, or any other cause.”

This was a war crime.

We kill people we suspect - with bombs-now we kill survivors like fish in a barrel vs. boarding these goddam boats/unless we know the drug claims are BS. But no/now we are war criminals. Every vote not cast for Harris was a vote for this. We were warned. Moving forward, 2026 is the last chance.
Kelly: He runs around on stage talking about lethality and the warrior ethos.. That’s not the message that should be coming from the Secretary of Defense… He runs around on a stage like he’s a 12 year old playing army. It’s embarrassing.

Reminder that Starbucks’ CEO made 6,666x more than the company's median employee in 2024.

This was the widest CEO-to-Worker pay gap in the entire S&P 500.

And we're supposed to believe Starbucks can't afford to bargain a fair contract with its unionized workers?

The same people who i used to fight with in the GOP, who wanted to withdraw American troops from everywhere, are now the ones justifying the murder of two survivors.

It’s almost like…. It was never about that

If we had Medicare for all we wouldn’t need a VA, we’d need their specialists and we’d need more hospitals and med centers across the country.

I grew up in the shadow of World War II, seeing my country as heroic. It’s heartbreaking to see voters choose elected officials clearly leading the US in the wrong direction. Considering myself well informed, I can cobble together an intellectual understanding but I remain emotionally devastated

96% of the highest-paid workers in the US have paid sick days.

Just 38% of the lowest-paid workers get them — including the thousands of retail workers working this holiday weekend.

Only in America do we call working people ‘essential’ but deny them paid sick leave.
