Well it has consequences. We where grouping over the means in a tibble and instead of 10 groups we got 16 due to that problem. Any tips on preventing this effect?

Turns out, R is making rounding errors in doubles on Mac M1, causing different permutations of trials with the same mean to have unequal means. 🤯

This could corrupt reliable research! 🚨 #reproducibility #openscience

Tried to demonstrate the distribution of means from repeated 10-trial samples of an equally distributed binary variable. Expected a normal distribution around 0.5, but got right-skewed results instead. 🤨 #RStats
