I heard krita's animation tools are good if you want something for free to start. Toonsquid for ipad is cheap as well. Or clipstudio EX but I found the anim tools a bit annoying to use.
Expensive programs: Tvpaint or Toonboom.
For puppet animation: Moho or Toonboom.
For 3D anim: blender or Maya

I’m pretty emotionally beat today. Just trying to once again take in the onslaught of authoritarianism and fascism this country is experiencing. The only reprieve I am offering is some images of queer people comforting each other. I hope it helps someone today.

I don't 'refuse to use' AI, I just don't use AI; in the same way that I don't shoplift, or plagiarise other people's books - it requires no effort of will, it's just not something I would think of doing
