Only thing I can think of is Punchy charging Thancred's cartridges sometimes. This was part of a "How She Shows She Cares" series I started in like 2022 and then never finished.

Hiding the dark circles under his eyes gets harder as time goes on; good humour can only camouflage bone deep weariness for so long, and dry wit even less. It's days like these that his back feels the heaviest, burdened by responsibility and that bitter sort of guilt that rises to meet you in the dark stillness of your room, whispering venom to the beat of your pulse in your ears. He took up the gunblade to protect others the only way he is able to anymore—with a tight jaw, grit beneath his nails and an iron will—but for all that he can and does bear alone, his cartridges… those he would need to seek out others for.

He asks Urianger first. Y'shtola is his second choice, followed by Alphinaud, but eventually, over time, he finds he no longer needs to ask. He finds a bag of cartridges primed and ready for use almost daily, and though he does not immediately know who has done him the favour on any particular day, he can tell who has provided the aether by how it feels when it's expelled. Urianger's and Alphinaud's aether has a warmth to it; a separate entity to the sparks emitted by his gunblade. Y'shtola's is fluid, curling in near palpable wisps into the air.

But there are days where he can sense another's aether within his cartridges. It is explosive in nature; something unruly and uncontrollable, yet undeniably potent, and he knows beyond a doubt that it belongs to the prickliest member of their little troupe. He doesn't know how or even when Myra gets her hands on his cartridges—and in his humble opinion, he is still plenty sneaky to be able to ascertain such—but he needn't ask her directly to get his answer, no. The way she looks away from him, disguising it as a flick of her hair after he pats her on the back and offers her his thanks is telling in itself.
