So, with Jane Goodall passing, I am reminded of a very fun incident where her institute sent a furious complaint over this cartoon on her behalf, only to have Goodall herself find it hilarious and go on to write the introduction to the collection it appeared in. A fantastic sense of humour.

When I was a kid I played sooo much Battletech. Painted mechs. Created character bios. Wrote up record sheets. When I started working as an actor, I made it my mission to get a role in any and every Mechwarrior/Battletech project out there. This is my third.

For the last few weeks, I have had some serious medical issues. My escape has been Starfield. What is even more significant is @eliastoufexis.bsky.social ‘s performance as Sam. I cry every time I do Sam’s quest because of the stellar performance on Elias’s part. Just wanted to say thank you.

One day on the set of #StarTrek I spent the whole day chatting with David Cronenberg. Asking for his advice and opinions. Hearing his great stories. Felt great.

Afterwards I realized that I was in makeup the whole time and he has no idea what I actually look like.

Yeah that’s all fair. They did present it in a similar way in an email, which was disingenuous, but they realized it and corrected it.

"Union membership was internally polled" is misleading, Dave. They polled us attending the meetings and on Zoom, which was, what, 300 members? About 0.2% of Union Membership.
