Graham Platner: "the VA says that I deserve health care and a little bit of money every month that helps me pay my mortgage."

Litte bit of money?: "his $4,800 a month in benefits from the VA given his 100-percent disabled status"
Graham Platner Really Might Be Doomed. Pay Attention to Him Anyway.
The candidate embodies a quarter-century of raw American frustration. It’s the source of his strength — and potentially his downfall.

Abolishing ICE won't do anything about Gregory Bovino, since he is part of the Border Patrol, not ICE.

There is only mention in the comments (other than us) that Kat Abughazaleh has the wrong agency.
Gregory Bovino is back in Chicago, and so is the violence.

Trump sending him here is not about safety. It’s about fear and force. We won’t give in.

In Congress, I’ll vote to abolish ICE.

Replacing serious politicians with influencers who have large audiences outside of the locality they would represent seems like a bad idea. But when you are an elite grifter influencer, it seems like a good idea.
Last night we had our 6-hour streamathon and it was a huge success!

We raised more than $25,000 while talking about politics, playing video games, making dolmas, and putting my cat in a little Santa hat.

Politicians can fund campaigns without calling rich people. They just have to want to do it.

Is Ro Khanna going to resign then?
December 15, 2025 at 7:58 PM
Ro Khanna says that Jewish Americans were targeted in Australia. That would be news, if true.
The targeted terrorist attack on Jewish Americans in Australia on the first day of Hanukkah is appalling and sickening. Thinking of the victims and their families.
December 15, 2025 at 7:53 PM
So, Ro Khanna's solution isn't more housing, but to restrict Wall Street from buying homes? That doesn't stop other wealthy landlords from buying up homes.
More than 75% of homes are unaffordable for the average household. Hard-working Americans are being pushed out of the market by private equity.

We need to pass my Wall Street Landlords Act that stops private equity from monopolizing the buying of single-family homes.

I want to be clear: if I’m in the Senate, I would proudly wear a suit and show respect for the history of the Senate, unlike one senator.

At the backend of this clip Hakeem Jeffries states indirectly he is against the discharge petition to have a vote on restricting members of Congress from trading stocks. He says he wants other branches of government included.

There is always an excuse not to restrict Congress from trading stocks.
Hakeem Jeffries responds to my question about how plenty of New York Democrats including Dan Goldman, Ritchie Torres and Espaillat face primary challenges.

It's amazing how many leftist politicians are in favor of patronizing a giant corporation instead of local businesses as long as they make a deal with a union.

It says a lot about what their movement is really about.
I’d be remiss if I didn't say: NO CONTRACT, NO COFFEE. ✊

Solidarity with @sbworkersunited.org in their fight for a contract. Starbucks must stop stalling and start negotiating.

Why did Zohran Mamdani need to raise $4 million for his transition?:

"If the committee were to continue its current rate of spending, that would bring its expenditures to roughly $1.6 million through the end of December, far below the $4 million Mamdani has said he’s trying to raise."
The maxed-out donors supporting Zohran Mamdani’s transition

Rep. Sara Jacobs in the background is hilarious.
As Trump seizes an oil tanker, Congress must oppose regime change war.

We must demand that Hegseth come before Congress, not throw an Admiral under the bus.

Does Ro Khanna think the farmers that just got bailed out are ultra-wealthy?
American’s view of economic conditions has dropped to the lowest level since the 1950s. We should be for Medicare for All, $10/day childcare, taxing billionaires, and a Marshall Plan for America.

Instead, the Trump admin just chooses to bail out the ultra-wealthy.

Are you aware of ANY Dems currently in Congress who are in favor of this privacy infringement?
Spoiler. The answer is ZERO.
Are you ever going to propose a single thing specific to the district you are seeking to represent--or just keep sending out meaningless posts like this one?

"[Kat] Abughazaleh criticized political ads on cable when she declared her candidacy this past March. She specifically promised not to waste donations 'on old, ineffective tactics' such as TV ads."

So of course she is the first candidate with an ad on TV.

Jasmine Crockett isn't running in New York City like Zohran Mamdani or Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who she mentions in this video as having cross-over votes with Trump. Is she stupid or does she think other people are stupid?
What Texans deserve is simple: A leader who will fight for them. I started my career as a public defender. So, to me, it doesn’t matter if you’re red, white, or blue, send me to the Senate and you can trust that I will fight for you. I’m fighting for us.

"Days after his November win, mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani made a quiet attempt to slow the internal race for New York City Council speaker. It set into motion one of the first tests of his political muscle — and it did not end well."

"[Zohran Mamdani] affordability agenda is also far more dependent on the state government, requiring less focus on City lawmakers, they said."

So, he ran for mayor on an agenda that isn't controlled by the city?
