The MMR shot is safe and effective, and there is no credible evidence otherwise.

Breaking MMR into three shots means 3x more copays at the doctor’s office, 3x more hours of missed work, 3x more bummed out kiddos, and probably more than 3x as many kids who aren’t fully vaccinated.

The acting CDC Director has no knowledge, training or experience in science/public health. Trump has no knowledge, training or experience in science/public health.

The good news about Jim O’Neill finally getting around to signing off on ACIP’s recommendations is that kids can now be vaccinated through the Vaccines for Children program. The delay was wholly unnecessary.

It’s already happening. And a few years ago, parents were taking washcloths that they rubbed on their kid’s chickenpox lesions and sending them via the mail to parents in other states.
