When I was caring for my dad in hospice last winter and people were publicly asking "where is the thing?" I lost it at one point and said anyone who wanted it sooner was basically wishing for my dad to die. 😬 It certainly shut them up for a while.

Situations often remind me to turn on the vacation replies on my email and then I'm like, can I just send a reply that LOOKS like a vacation reply? But it wasn't instant. Will they know?

Many sea stars begin life as young fairy-like creature (called a brachiolaria) that float through the open ocean. Eventually, a small star forms within them (here in yellow). The fairy-like brachiolaria sinks under the star’s weight, and the star pops out!

Yeah I use Calendly some, but when someone asks "are you free for lunch on Friday" I am appreciating this newfound ability to just look at my calendar and not do the conversion in my head

omg I just figured out how to make Google Calendar show Germany times concurrently with US times so I don't have to toggle back and forth. Planning across time zones is still such a pain...
