ran into a friend at a cafe who mentioned his wife is having an emotional affair with chatgpt, missed that the "chat model was much hornier last spring," and that they're getting divorced but her chat & his chat negotiated the terms of the divorce over several weeks. They were together for 18 yrs.
most cafe conversations blend into the background for me, but as soon as a man starts the “do you use ChatGPT? I’ve started using it for…” conversation within a 10 table radius, I feel my brain short circuiting

De-escalation in Minnesota will be a very good thing if it happens and I hope it means less aggressive and violent surges in other places. But I want to stress that it is still critical to engage in ICE watch work wherever you live. The regime may change tactics, but they will still be out in force.

Being a journalist is sick: I just contacted a pre-eminent jaguar conservationist in Argentine with a question that has been weighing on me for ages and he wrote back right away with an informed answer.
