Hurricane Priscilla brought us a wet present over this past weekend. We had nearly no power towards the end, but the water! Our desert landscape is so lush right now!

Hot off the bench today, lush opalite & freshwater pearl cluster and white & grey moonstone earrings, both with oxidized copper wire wrap...in honor of the waxing moon!

Just another steaming pile fouling our government.
Well this is a content cactus if ever I saw one one! She has been diggin' the rainy monsoon we've had this year!

One of my favorite creations; my gemstone wrap bracelet/necklace designs are not only versatile, but so lusciously colorful! This set features an abstract "treasure" mix of sterling, Coral, turquoise & chrysoprase beads, with a handmade gaspeite & sterling focal.

Sorry food workers just know I've been there. I feel for you.
Watch closely, kiddos; this is why your parents scold you when you're having a tantrum. Learn how to control yourself, or one day you too might be a grown adult making a full-blown spectacle of himself. 😒
Thanks for responding, I appreciate it! 😊
Beautiful, love your pieces but could never afford them...do you ever do barter?
Must say, even tho I've been vegan for decades, I still think fondly on goat dairy...
Years ago, when our last beloved doggo died, we planted him in the yard with a small, standard issue barrel cactus I'd had in a pot to top him off. Now the cactus is large & healthy and has different colored flowers than any of our other barrels. I can only think it's Jadie's energy.

A moment of self reflection, after coming from the restroom....
Not listed on my website yet, but couldn't resist sharing these new chandelier style earrings; they both turned out very cool, IMO! 😊 Purples & Greens, both in silver & copper...

I believe the psychiatrists refer to that as "projection".
Yippee! Sold this vineyard-inspired set at the Sonoita Harvest fest last Saturday...now I get to make another dragon necklace!

Day 55 of showing the internet that (jumping) spiders aren't scary 😮

Let’s bust a BIG myth:

Jumping spiders aren’t aggressive, they’re just misunderstood 💚 They’d rather observe, explore, and wave their little arms than pick a fight. They shouldn't be punished for merely existing 🥺 #jumpingspider
The Red Bird of Paradise (Caesalpinia pulcherrima) is everywhere in landscaping in southeast Arizona; but what I think is prettier is Yellow Birds (Caesalpinia gilliesii – Yellow Bird of Paradise). You don't see them in landscaping much, they're naturalized & found all over.
I have a wine festival in Elgin AZ, at Sonoita Vineyards, coming up on 8/2...so I've definitely been inspired by juicy purples lately!

Oh, the desert is coming to life with the recent rains! Not just lots of greening up, but critters galore!
Spotted on tonight's evening walk; little baby alligator lizard, one of several tarantulas that's just shown up & one of several resident gilas.

So wistfully eloquent.
Well, we don't have dogs anymore, but this is one of our favorite critter friends! Cody the coati.
