15 got 6th place in UIL Feature Writing and 6th in Ready Writing. πŸŽ‰ School's best went to her friend Felipe, who received 4th in Editorial. This is the first time the school has placed in Journalism in several years.

Insurance is being a dick.

15 landed a part in White Christmas but is unsure if she will accept due to UIL and other responsibilities.

Both 15 and 17 are on fall break and went to the farm, so I have no kids til Sunday. Yes!

I haven't been around much. I've got a lot on my mind. Dad had vitrectomy surgery Wednesday. He's doing well but isn't able to see well at the moment. I'm nervous of a retina detachment.

Last Friday, I was rear-ended while stopped at a red light. I'm fine, my 4 month old car... not so much.
