Was thinking, one thing that killed me when grifters yelled at me about the 2024 election for daring to criticize democrats, is that I stood in line for hours to vote for Stacey Abrams in 2018. Like, tbh that is way more "voting cred" off that one election than anything those people ever did.

This is catastrophic. We have a severe provider shortage in u.s. healthcare, and a dire need for policies to replenish our workforce. This is the opposite. This just makes a critical situation far worse, limiting the ability of people to seek these degrees when they otherwise would.

The only thing vastly proven is that Americans are susceptible to propaganda. Their motives are rarely "more space", it's "cities are scawy 🥺" and shit related to exceptionalism. "You're special, you deserve those acres you'll never fucking touch, because you're AMERICAN".
Right, this is true, but the OVERWHELMING evidence of the past 100 years of American life is that vastly more people want space and a car than a smaller unit and a car-free lifestyle. This is mostly why the suburban share of US population has grown relentlessly for the entire 20th and 21st century
Some people put a premium on space in my experience, others put a premium on not having to have a car and not being isolated out in the suburbs
