It's a privately owned building that ICE has been leasing since 2011. The city of Portland has issued a land use violation notice, but I don't know if anything will come of it.

The fluctuating weather is not my friend. Menstruation hasn't helped. Lots of dysautonomia symptoms.

This random hot day has my dysautonomia shit all flared up, perfect timing to go get the updated covid & flu vax I've been procrastinating. But I need to make sure I have enough days to recover before attending my friends' wedding on Sunday, so let's go!

I tend to assume it has something to do with whether they were also bullied at home, in which case it feels normal to them.
I had love and support at home and elsewhere, which made it easier to stand up to school bullies and know there was a better life available for me away from there

Anyone else do bed time haircuts? Like, you're brushing your teeth, staring at yourself harder than you have all day. And notice it's gotten too shaggy around the ears, or you've been meaning to trim the layers in your mullet. Why wait til tomorrow? You'll probably forget til bed time anyway

Yeah, prob not super legal. But she didn't ask me not to self-medicate, she also smoked. But just didn't want either herself or I to be on a govt list of marijuana users. There had just been a case in OR or WA where in home childcare workers were caught smoking on site, that freaked her out.

Wow. Meanwhile here in the US I've always been too nervous about getting a Rx and being put on a list, as a parent and (former) early childhood educator. In fact my Montessori boss asked that I don't, cuz she was nervous about having employees on a list. Even tho legal state rec use was close

My pcos (not that it was dxed then) seemed to kick into higher gear. Or at least my testosterone levels did. (But maybe that's partly normal when carrying a male sexed baby? Idk) Pregnancy was when I started to see increased body hair, that's continued ever since.

And that's fascinating cuz in my big conspiracy board of my health history, I didn't think the fibro kicked in til after my pregnancy. That before that my joint pain etc was all hypermobility spectrum disorder. But who knows, I've been racking up new symptoms every few years the whole time anyway
