I want to reopen my commissions but I honestly have no idea how to go about pricing my art.

I don’t know where to start charging for a full scene with multiple characters or a sketchy but vibrant spread.

At the same time I’m still working on improving various aspects of my art/skillset so … idk 😵‍💫

Camillia, an icy dragon-like woman stares forward coldly and confidently, unamused by Polaris’s theatrics. Zélior, a isopod fae knight glances over to Camilla, their hands rest on their sword at the ready just in case. Endemama, floats above the crowd, a confident smile on their face. Euridice, a pink tiefling nervously looks around the odd room. Polaris, is a small undead man who holds up the same invitation all the other guests have. A large page of colored in sketches 8 of the original character, Ember. There’s a jagged border acting as a frame for the image. The largest sketch is a prominently featured portrait. The second largest is on the right, a full body sketch of Ember with her bangs pushed back and hair floating, revealing an oversized dark third eye. Next to it is two smaller portraits, one of Ember’s head tilted forward displaying her third eye when activated, and the second is Ember intensely staring. In the bottom right corner, there is a tiny strange looking Ember. I was hoping this'd help my motivation, but instead I think it's doing the opposite. Outside of the experimental layout of 4 that I kinda like, I can tell it's making me have a sloppier output than I prefer for my sketchy artworks.

I think I'll just focus on non-challenge, horror-y art this Oct.

This is my October-long art challenge to motivate myself to post more! :,D

Each day I’ll (hopefully) post a storybook-styled artwork exploring a different aspect of my personal project “Edynvale”.

For those unaware: a ‘Logline’ is usually 1~2 sentence intro/summary for an Episode, Movie etc. It usually is the barest basics of what a story’s features.

Sometimes it covers the entire premise, or just where it starts.
(This one is the latter)
