the FCC thing was wrong on my part, my apologies, it's actually due to the cable providers wanting networks to have new programming, which is why boomerang airs this preschool show at 6 AM while disney xd airs armorsaurs exclusively

oh i get it, so they're deliberately putting long hiatuses for shows like this, totally spies, looniversity, & previously TDI so when there comes a month where they don't have anything, they just pick it up again to abide to FCC laws (mandate where they need new programming)

I honestly think that the thing I love most about "Smiling Friends" is how often it demonstrates that a change in animation techniques for a character or a scene or whatever can in and of itself be the best gag you can conceive - and proving you don't necessarily have to be in the know to 'get it'.
Production art I did in late-2024 of SQUIM on the Smiling Friends episode "Squim Returns"! I just adore this character and I had so much fun drawing him! Once again, huge thanks to Zach Hadel, Michael Cusack, and Aron Fromm for having me design this critter! π€ͺ
