Crazy that TNA’s most relevant title run in years came from a WWE/NXT-contracted champion. Props to Trick for showing out, but where does TNA go from here? They’ve got talent now they need to actually build their roster.

Booker is right. $75K as a 1099 sounds cute until taxes eat 30% that you, not the company, pays. Now you’re at $52.5K. No benefits, no insurance, and you cover travel, gear, rent, etc. That “big opportunity” money? Barely entry-level. It’s not disrespect to walk away it’s math.
