I feel like it’s funny hindsight, but my kid was only like 2 at the time and I was real angry about it for a long time. His logic was that if my kid got in trouble, they’d have no one else to blame which was absolutely wild coming from someone I didn’t know in any way lmao

I didn’t realize how heavy the question can be until AFTER I had my kid and I saw how others hurt when being asked, so I don’t ask anymore. If someone wants to talk to me about it they will, and if not that’s okay.

I truly feel like MOST people don’t realize how invasive these types of questions can be but if they don’t drop it, just uno reverse the convo. It’s how I get people to leave me alone 😅

LRP, I have something to tell anyone who is feeling pressured to change their mind. I have a kid (I wanted a kid) and these kinds of questions don’t actually stop. I had a total stranger tell me I wasn’t a real parent because I only have 1 kid. If kids aren’t in your future, that’s okay!

Panel 4- The same person, an older adult now, is being told, "better have kids soon, or it'll be too late!" to which they respond, "That's fine"

Panel 5- Now elderly, they are once again asked "Don't you feel like you missed out?" to which they say, "Still nope."

Panel 6- They are now in their death bed, clearly close to death. The nurse says, "Shame you didn't have kids, don't you regret it?" To which the person says "You know what just kill me already"
