Unexpectedly fell into art at the end of high school. Got some freelance jobs which led to me trying that route for years + combined with odd jobs and workshops. Got tired of constantly chasing work/ the uncertanty but liked doing workshops a lot = decided to apply to uni to get a teaching degree.

I find it kind of funny that the "draw freiren from below" thing is now everywhere and I didnt know about it when i did this. 😅 Could have used some of the tips floating about! but I think I did a pretty good job on this angle honestly.
Had hoped to draw more this weekend but got busy with existential dread (and couldnt find my pen). But managed to do a mermaid sketch. 🧜🏼♀️

The slop
The theft

The loss of work
The crumbling of creator rights
The destroying of the environment and infrastructure
But it's also the destroying of trust in anything that you’re not seeing with your own eyes right in front of you.
Wonder now turned to the narrowing of eyes in immediate scepticism seeing something magical.
Questioning the realness of everything from a stilted written apology to profound works by students in school.
It feels like a slow poison to creativity and humanity at large.

Been a really interesting day of 7 hours of looking at art in Stockholm today. We made it to 6 different exhibitions!
Going to reward myself with kimchi stew followed by a warm bath. Im so tired but wow art is amazing and so important.

Big presentation tomorrow and then FINALLY a weekend when I don't have to study. These last weeks have been tough, I can never get the hours in the week to last to do everything they need us to in some teacher's classes. I don't get how others manage?
