Rachel Reeves says this Labour Governments decisions are "necessary."

Why is it always necessary to hit the living standards of the 99%?

When are we going to make the necessary decisions about extreme wealth?

Quick analysis of The Times today:
Wall to wall negative coverage of Labour’s budget. An editorial that tuts about lack of growth but takes no responsibility. And a double page ad to join Farage/Reform.
Absolutely no analysis on how rightwing ideology - including Brexit - has been utterly ruinous.

Today, Nigel Farage reiterated his belief that Enoch Powell ‘was right’.

If you are a Sikh, he’s talking about you - about how ‘wearing turbans whilst driving a bus would disrupt Britain’.

If you are black, he’s talking about you - how when you moved in next door to white people, you ‘took over’.

They need to proscribe farmers & the NFU as a terrorist organisation then they could arrest them.
Farmers were banned from protesting in Whitehall by Police but went ahead & broke the law by doing so👇🏼

September 857 were arrested for showing support for Palestine Action.. a group calling for an end to Genocide in Gaza

Farmers are bitching about Death Duty.. so how many arrests so far❓
Farmers ignore tractor ban and take inheritance tax protest to Westminster
Police had banned tractors from Whitehall, but farmers angry about Rachel Reeves's tax changes brought their budget day protest to Westminster anyway.

Bring it on Nigel. Taking this stuff to court pumps it back into the headlines again & again & again. The oxygen of court theatre & licence for the media to pick it over on a daily basis. Looking forward to it.
If you receive legal threats from Nigel Farage for your reporting of Reform, please get in touch.

We have employed a defamation lawyer specifically for this purpose and would love to help (and we do so on non-commercial terms). www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

Rachel Reeves says there’s a “hole” in the public finances.

A new decade-long Brexit study explains it:

a 6–8% hit to GDP – that's £180bn-£240bn a year – means less tax, less investment and less money for everything else.

Brexit made Britain poorer. Much poorer.
New: Boris Johnson’s ‘Brexit Titanic success’ was half right
Nearly ten years on, the first full assessment of Brexit confirms what millions warned: Britain made itself poorer

It’s crazy to think about the crimes we’re going to learn about after this regime ends.

We’re already hearing about Watergate level crimes every week. Imagine what will come out after it’s over.

We’re going to need a full accounting of all that’s been done in violation of the constitution.

Will UK Chancellor redistribute?

End two-child benefit cap, cost £3bn-£3.6bn.
Abolish VAT on domestic fuel, cost £2.5bn.
Increase income tax personal allowance by £1000, cost £8.4bn.

Taxing capital gains at same rate as wages, generates £14bn+ more in NIC.

Another world is possible.
This is how Rachel Reeves could deliver a progressive budget
The chancellor has an opportunity to boost the public purpose and deliver redistribution
