Both clonal hematopoiesis of indeterminate potential (CHIP) and cancer are more common with age. When they coexist in the same patient, CHIP cells may migrate to the tumor and have an adverse effect on overall survival. Full study results: nej.md/3EnzMVu

Unfortunately was not able to travel to EBMT but our poster can still be viewed virtually! We report on the first 7 #VEXAS patients who underwent allo-HCT on our prospective phase II trial. High rates of #GVHD and other inflammatory complications noted. @ Bhavisha Patel

Gene therapy for #telomere biology disorders 🧬! Report of first 2 patients @nejm.org evidence by Kas Myers using vector to increase expression of ZSCAN4 to elongate telomeres. Some TL elongation in HSPCs but low numbers. Will be interested to see more data! evidence.nejm.org/doi/pdf/10.1...
