Related to the self centering aspect: this reminds me of people up in arms over books where the main character is clearly a bad person. “I can’t relate to them / I would never do that abhorrent thing” As though reading through another perspective reflects on their own morals. LIKE, THAT IS NOT YOU.

Busy today, but I’ve been working on a few many things. Even if it’s just for a few minutes after work.

I don’t really draw as a on the grind kinda thing. More so it’s an exercise that I find healing (until it’s not and it frustrates me 😭).

I don’t know how it works with others who have struggled with this sort of thing too. For me, the suicidal ideation is still there in the back of my mind every day. The voice… or I guess the urge is quieter but regardless it persists.

I don’t imagine it ever leaving. It no longer consumes me tho.
