Happy New Year! Muss es wirklich sein? .... #BanFireworks #Feuerwerk
January 1, 2026 at 9:06 AM
#banFireworks 2025 is close to an end. Let’s just let it pass by.
For many wild animals, fireworks can be a death sentence. They get scared & run against windows / buildings in panic. This has nothing to do with celebrating.
Pls be mindful of those who cannot speak but share this earth w/ you. #2026

You don’t speak German? I hear you! Here is the English open-access version: osf.io/preprints/ps...
"The Neural Basis of Empathy in Borderline Personality Disorder - a Review."
On a sidenote: Was I, as a moderator of OSF, allowed to accept my own preprint? Nope 🙂 No shady business here!
December 17, 2025 at 8:38 AM
I was told that I have decisioned over 1,700 preprints this year! 😱Moderators, including myself, are driven by our commitment to making science better. This means staying vigilant against AI-generated spam & allowing researchers around the world to share their work openly.
Pls support PsyArXiv!
Metadata matters!
If you submit a preprint to PsyArXiv, to ensure smooth acceptance, don't forget to fill out the metadata correctly.

Below you will find a few tips, but detailed guidelines are at 👉 buff.ly/M3cRBW2

You rock, Emma!!! What a great initiative.
It was a pleasure to introduce the Better Together campaign at the University of Vienna as the local coordinator for Vienna yesterday 🧡. I am so excited to bring the EFPSA Social Impact Initiative anti-discrimination campaign to Austria! 🤩

I’m so excited to be here! Let the career day begin! This is such an important & much-needed initiative. Judging by the number of sessions I’ve signed up for, you can probably tell how uncertain I am about my next career steps. Will it be industry, research, or ...? Maybe I’ll find out today!

It’s so nice to see that our “COVID EMA Dream Team” continues to publish great results long after the two lockdowns we went through. I miss those times a bit :P
New paper on fatigue, hair cortisol and stress during COVID-19 lockdowns. 💡📜

We found signs of hypocortisolism during the COVID-19 lockdowns in the general population.

Risk factors for fatigue were young age, chronic stress, low income, and loneliness.
