It's completely justified to mock Noem for her comments about "antifa."

But, we should also be scared as hell that the person responsible for protecting the country from people or organizations who want to do us harm might actually believe all that nonsense.

There is a brilliance to this that can't be underestimated.

If the protesters showed up in body armor, helmets and masks, it would be easier for Trump and his accomplices to claim they are terrorists.

If they start beating up people dancing in costumes, they will just look like violent thugs.

At some point, the National Guard Generals need to realize that when multiple courts hand down decisions saying that the deployments to American Cities are illegal, the orders themselves are illegal and they have an obligation to defy them.
