“I don't think that people accept the fact that life doesn't make sense. I think it makes people terribly uncomfortable.”

David Lynch
You know you're watching a quality horror film when the title on screen is a different title than the one you are shown going in.

This happens shockingly often in 70s/80s horror, especially from Italy.

Gotta love when someone says they don’t understand what 6-7 means.

That’s brainrot for you. NO ONE knows what it means!

I’d really like to see streaming services have a dedicated channel to CreatorVC’s documentaries. They have put out more than 2 days worth of material so far (no doubt even more in the future), and it could be the perfect thing to veg out on.

Only 90 more years until this masterpiece comes out! Who else is excited?

Just saw KEEPER. It was, indeed, a dark trip. I was on edge for most of it. Some parts even reminded me of Twin Peaks.

Really looking forward to Osgood's next film.

Going to see KEEPER pretty soon. Really stoked to check this out.

There’s something about CreatorVC‘s documentaries that are immensely watchable.

I’m not really into 80’s sci-fi, but when I saw that In Search Of Tomorrow was on Tubi, I almost immediately checked in.

Hot take: I think that, instead of sticking with Liam Neeson as Frank, all future Naked Gun sequels should each feature a different action star as him. Like James Bond.

We could have Jason Statham as Frank, Daniel Craig as
Frank, Adam Driver as Frank, Idris Elba as Frank, etc.

Done with Bugonia. It was quite good. Great performances from Stone and Plemons.

Really should get around to watching Yorgos' other films.

About to see Bugonia. I can't believe it took me this long to get to a Yorgos film. Then again, it IS produced by my man, Ari Aster.

Post something random or you’ll have an awful November.

Another Mandela effect: For years, I thought the Hot Dad song was called "Fun Time Laser Intercourse BEACH", and not "Fun Time Laser Intercourse BEASTS". Only realized the actual title yesterday.

However did Grimace get retconned as a friendly figure with a name like that?

My most un-woke take is that being silent on a political issue isn’t inherently a bad thing. Maybe someone feels unequipped to speak out about it, or they don’t have enough information, or they don’t talk about politics in general. Maybe it makes them feel uncomfortable.

YOU may take comfort in some e-celeb getting outed for awful stuff because you never liked them for being annoying.

I can take comfort in some e-celeb getting outed for awful stuff because I‘m not familiar with them or their work.

Done with Shelby Oaks. Wasn't particularly fond of how it ended, but I otherwise really liked it. Director Chris Stuckmann made a name for himself reviewing movies on YouTube, and his debut shows promise for him.

At the cinema, about to see Shelby Oaks.

Having just visited the website FARK for the first time in over a decade, I can confirm that, for better or worse, it’s pretty much the same as I remember.

I feel like I’ve just now found out that 67 is a meme, and it might be too late. The more you age, the faster memes pass you by.

And I’m only 29.
