Created a (non-sports) Batimore starter pack. Would love to add more folks. Let me know if you’d like to be added or if you know someone who should be added. go.bsky.app/VA6VBAj
Good. We should have known there was a problem when he couldn’t get dressed for work.
Is he coming to Argentina?
I wish we’d thought of this before now
Who won the rest of them? Lol
Good thing our goaltending has been excellent
Ok, well you’re supposed to do something about it. We literally pay you to do something about it.

Problems for sure. I was thinking more about the people who won’t come to the city because “it’s dangerous.” I moved to the city from Harford County in 2020 and you would have thought I was moving to Gaza. Meanwhile it’s the best decision I ever made. I’ve never been happier.

This Fox article today might belong in the hall of fame of bad faith use of statistics.
The headline cites a "spike in car thefts in some Baltimore districts" and the body goes on to point out some crazy increases: 62% in Northwest! 30% in Central! Sounds like a real City in Crisis, right? A 🧵:
Fox Baltimore headline: Man's car stolen from garage amidst spike in car thefts in some Baltimore districts Recent data from the Baltimore Police Department indicates a rise in auto thefts in three of the city's nine districts over a seven-day period, with a 30% increase in the Central district, 62% in the Northwest district and 12% in the Eastern district.

Last week, five districts reported increases.
