Can anyone recommend an AI solution for time management, like an artificial personal assistant? Something that scans my email for tasks and deadlines, integrates with other to-do lists, populates my schedule in light of my preferences, and sends reminders as appropriate. Can’t be that hard to build.

On this, I love this paper on justified exclusions in mathematics, focusing on justly excluded cranks. Which doesn't mean that there can be no false negatives, but it's a matter of workload management for the community.

A successful scientific discipline is a self-regulating epistemic community. It’s *supposed* to kick out charlatans and cranks and creeps.

In fairness, it appears that there were solid, longstanding reasons for Epstein and associates to have confidence that The New York Times (in particular) wasn't going to publish these kinds of emails from them.
Do people still advise writing every email as though it's going to be published on the front page of the Times? I guess nobody told Epstein and his pals.
