It's not getting as much buzz, but Tomodachi life letting you actually make aro/ace miis in addition to being gay/bi is a nice addition. Plus the fact that you can have platonic housemates now, instead of that being exclusive to marriage is cool.

Tangle Tower is a fantastic murder mystery game, and the developers have a follow up coming sometime soon, so this is well worth picking up especially at the absurdly good price. Really good voice acting too.
