N’ami rests in her meditative position, asking to be let go from her father’s grasp. Her father stands in a faded portrait of himself, as a voidsent looms just beside him. This voidsent is known as his shadow. This shadow has protected N’ami since his death; so much to the point he’s stopped her from taking her own life. The very mountaintop she is sat upon, is the same mountaintop she attempted to take her life. She has found herself here yet again, not in desperation, but in a graceful plea to let her father’s hold release her. Around her are gentle black wisps of smoke. These usually manifest when she’s asking for her father’s presence in kind. Here, she is begging, desperately, to finally walk her own path. Yet he refuses to let her go. Has she done enough?
