Everyone's talking about Trump not getting the peace prize, but no one's talking about how Ersatz Doctor got snubbed too. Just another example of discrimination against philosophy phds.

I’m usually good at anticipating republican spin on their absurd actions, but even I’m at a loss here. What could they possibly say is good about this?

Slimy Mike Johnson and hypocrisy incarnate JD Vance have no limit to their sycophancy. They will lie through their teeth to preserve power and they’ve only been rewarded for it so far.

In short, even in the face of blatant evidence of Trump’s raping of young girls, they will deny and downplay it.

And if his base doesn’t leave him, Republicans in congress won’t either. This was clearly demonstrated by the R’s who disavowed him on Jan 6 who clearly assumed that would be the final straw for even MAGA. But as soon as they realized he didn’t lose support, they came running back.

Even if the Epstein files get released and Trump is everywhere in them, I don’t believe that will sink him. He’s proven time and time again that he can do and say whatever he wants, never admit guilt, and his base won’t leave him.
