We need to get really angry at those who work hard to prevent any meaningful climate change mitigation efforts. Surely they are just a small (but powerful) minority. Being polite hasn't worked, we must force the change.
Global CO2 emissions from fossil use are projected to rise 1.1% in 2025 (range 0.2% to 2.2%).
Emissions in China & India are projected to grow much less in 2025, while emissions in the USA & EU are projected to grow this year, partly due to weather conditions.

We should get really angry at those who willingly and knowingly hinder efforts to dramatically change this trajectory.

Kullan hintakehitys sai taas miettimään, miten ihmeellistä on, että kulta on hurjan arvokasta, vaikka ihan valtaosa kullasta on aikalailla hyödyttömässä muodossa kultaharkkoina holveissa ja koruina (no korut toki nättejä, mutta voisivat olla yhtä nättejä jostain muustakin materiaalista tehtyinä).

Harmittaa, että sellainen toiminta, joka on oikeasti ilmaston, luonnon monimuotoisuuden ja ihmisten hyvinvoinnin kannalta hyödyksi, ei yleensä ole taloudellisesti kannattavaa. Tai toisin päin; yleensä talousseikat estävät toimimasta tavalla, joka olisi kokonaisuuden kannalta hyväksi.

Tukiverkkojen saksiminen saa minut ja monet muut entistä säästeliäämmäksi. Se ei taida olla hyväksi taloudelle, että hillotaan vaan pahan päivän varalle.
