I was born to a 20 and 21 yr olds who were escaping abuse, poverty, and religious conservatism. I was born in the project apartments a huge step up for us. Later, a small house behind my grandparents. As my parents ascended a bit more, we moved and I changed schools until I moved to the US at 16.
