In pondering this, it became apparent that, if doggedly pursued, the amount of time it would take to prosecute all of the despot's accomplices would take more than a generation. In the meantime, there will inevitably be a MAGAt-like takeover during election cycles. It won't be over when he's gone.

The coup had its beginning on 1/20/16. Its foundation was surreptitiously put into place in anticipation of a second reign, this time an absolute one. Work was done in the intervening years so that the coup would have its official start on 1/20/25. Hitler did it in 53 days, the despot in 1,198.
