All Fox News and their ilk did was monetize the whiteness and white grievances you, your family, and friends didn't want to let go of and they were happy to buy into immediately. That was because it was always being reinforced in this society before those organizations ever existed.

Just to help ya'll understand this. Fox News is younger than me by 10 years and some change (I am 39). Your family members were shit tier humans before that who thought the dehumanizing of people like me and others was something that was fine. Own up to the whiteness that got us here. 1/

This is also why I have a disdain when people say "Fox News made my parents/relatives racist."
That shot was always there and it was, at best, amplified and you were just able to ignore it for the entirety of your time around them. While you usually grew up in spaces that were all white 1/

Most US people have a completely false perception of what police actually do, and how they actually treat Black folk. This misperception is mostly formed by newspapers and copaganda TV shows. No Internet or social media needed!
