Veritas watches silently as she leaves. Her meaning is clear, and eerily pointed regarding his own inner turmoil.

It would be far better for Aventurine to find his own way back to the living.

But Veritas is only a man. Never is that clearer than each time he comes face to face with Aventurine dangling himself over the brink. If his damned gambler cannot pull himself free from the abyss, then it falls to Veritas to make the journey there and back again for him.

i'll probably end up getting a second cat sometime next year. it's already *very* apparent that daphne eats her food sooner/faster (out of boredom?) on the days i'm not at home, and if i'm the only other living being she regularly interacts with, she's liable to end up with separation anxiety.

it's kinda wild that fe3h had its 6th anni over the weekend. it's the game that got me back into fandom spaces because it infected my brain so bad after ~2 years of avoiding fandom spaces prior.
