in other soccer news I bought my plane tickets to go to the Pride game away at Denver; I can’t go to Boston due to the shit scheduling and I don’t think I can do any other away trips this year since I have to use so much PTO on home games 😭

mom said the HVAC people came out and determined the issue was that it was so cold the heat froze and the emergency heat came on but it should be fine and not cause a fire
I told my mom that if they smell smoke or burning again, or if the alarms go off again, to call the fire department, and also to call the HVAC maintenance company ASAP in the morning.

A girl on my flight only had a USB-C cable for her phone and the plane has old USB-A ports, so I gave her one of my C to A converters and told her to keep it. They really are great for traveling because of public USB chargers never being upgraded. 😅
